Ants are always conscious about their territory. They also tend to extend themselves to a wider area. There are scout groups of ants set for this purpose. Their job is to find places for new nests and locate sources of food. Unlike other kinds of pests, ants use a different route to explore human territories. They are known to use inlet telephone cables, internet cables, wires and pipes as a path to your living area. Once the scout ants report that our living space has things that they seek, it is only a matter of time before we will have to deal with the infestation. Sometimes these are very severe and make our own living space inhabitable.
